Since April 2005 the building regulations for England and Wales changed in a way that affects the installation of new and exchanged gas appliances. The new regulations stipulates that when a gas appliance is installed in a residential property the work must be notified to building control.

The building regulations also stipulates that when a boiler is installed in a residential property it must be of the condensing type except in exceptional circumstances.

Gastech Solutions are qualified to self- certify the gas installation and make sure the work complies with the building regulations.
